Chilean government has included a call for a P10 Convention in its draft Rio +20 input Below the spanish and the english version: Español: 27. En el mismo sentido, Chile considera fundamental la implementación cabal de los derechos de acceso, participación y justicia ambiental consagrados en el Principio 10 de la declaración de Río. Por lo mismo, Chile promueve la celebración de Convenios Regionales para la adopción del Principio 10. En el mismo sentido, Chile aboga por una facilitación de la participación de las comunidades locales en los procesos de toma de decisión. Chile aboga por una mejora en los instrumentos de fiscalización y justicia ambiental en el respeto de la soberanía de cada país; y en la solución al daño ambiental de nivel internacional como ocurre en aquellos sobre territorios no sometidos a jurisdicciones nacionales.

English: 27. Similarly, Chile considers it is essential the full implementation of the access rights to information, participation and environmental justice established in the Principle 10 of the Rio Declaration. Therefore, Chile promotes the celebration of regional conventions for the adoption of Principle 10. Similarly, Chile calls for facilitating the participation of local communities in decision-making processes. Chile calls for improved control instruments and environmental justice in respect of the sovereignty of each country, and in solving international environmental damage as it happen in those lands that are not subject to national jurisdictions
