Principle 10 at risk in the Rio+20 process. PLEASE SUPPORT

The Access Initiative(TAI) is inviting you to join our call to keep paragraph 58 of the Rio +20 text on implementation of Principle 10 of the Rio Declaration in the Outcome Document.

Currently the paragraph 58 – Co Chairs text:- reads We encourage action at the national, regional and local levels to promote access to information, public participation and access to justice in environmental matters as appropriate. The G77,( including China, India and a number of African countries ) have requested the deletion of this paragraph alongside New Zealand, Canada and Japan.
