Join Scholarly Debate about Rio+20 with the Faculty of Law in Rio de Janeiro Brazil and the Program in Law and the Environment

    The Getulio Vargas Foundation, through its Faculty of Law in Rio de Janeiro Brazil (FGV Direito-Rio) and the Program in Law and the Environment (PDMA), has recently launched a website concerning the next World Summit on the Environment and Sustainable Development to be held in Rio de Janeiro in 2012, commonly referred to as Rio+20.

    Participate in the scholarly debates - both in Portuguese and English - around the issues to be covered at Rio+20. These discussion will be carried out in phases:

    • Green Economy
    • Sustainable Development: Governance and Institutional Framework
    • Concepts for Other Environmental Conferences
    • General Principles

    You can also suggest a new topic for discussion.
